Returns, Adjustments & Order Concerns

Order Fulfillment Errors & Manufacturer Defects

Please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order to report any issues, and within 30 days if your order has not arrived. Refunds or adjustments cannot be issued if we are not notified within these timeframes.

If an item arrives damaged during shipping, please:

  • Keep all packing materials, the box, and the item

  • Provide clear photographs of:

    • the item

    • internal packaging

    • the shipping box (if damaged)

  • Include your order or invoice number and a brief description of the issue

These materials may be required if the carrier requests documentation.


Manufacturer Defects & Handmade Variations

All pottery we offer is imported directly from workshops and factories in Poland. Each piece is quality inspected at the factory level and again by us. On rare occasions, something may be overlooked.

Polish Pottery is handcrafted from start to finish. Variations in pattern placement, brushwork, glaze flow, or color are a natural and cherished part of handmade ceramics and are not considered defects.


Careful Inspection & Human Oversight

We carefully inspect each item before it leaves our care. That said, because all pieces are handmade, human oversight is always possible.

If you notice a concern upon receiving your order, please contact us promptly and include:

  • your order or invoice number

  • clear photographs

  • a brief description of your concern

This allows us to review the situation thoughtfully and respond in a fair and timely manner.


Refunds & Replacements

For items confirmed to be damaged, incorrectly fulfilled, or affected by acknowledged quality issues, we will offer either:

  • a full refund to the original form of payment (minus any discounts applied), or

  • a replacement item

The choice of refund or replacement is made at our discretion. In some cases, we may request that the item be returned; if so, a return label will be provided.

All approved returns must be completed within 30 days of purchase.


All Other Returns

For returns not related to damage, fulfillment errors, or confirmed quality issues:

  • Buyer must notify us within 10 days of receipt

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase

  • Items must be unused and returned with all original stickers intact

  • Buyer is responsible for return shipping and insurance

  • We are not responsible for items lost, damaged, or stolen during return transit

Once received and inspected, we will issue store credit for the item:

  • minus a 10% processing fee

  • minus any original shipping costs incurred by us

Returns outside this window cannot be accepted.


Order Confirmation & Cancellations

By paying an invoice, you confirm that you have reviewed your order for accuracy and are authorizing us to pack and ship your items.

While we do our best to monitor messages, we cannot guarantee that requests to change or cancel orders will be seen in time. Once payment is made, cancellations are treated as returns and follow the All Other Returns policy above.


Please Inspect Your Order Promptly

For everyone’s protection, please inspect your order carefully upon arrival.
All returns — regardless of reason — require notification within 10 days of receipt.
