Cześć! I’m Anna Krejci, and I’m so glad you found your way here! In 2014, I founded Surroundings Polish Pottery to bring the beauty of handmade ceramics from Bolesławiec, Poland, into homes across the USA.

For me, Polish Pottery isn’t just about creating beautiful pieces — it’s about family, community, and the little details that make each gathering so special. I’m passionate about preserving and sharing Polish traditions, and I believe that the stories behind each piece make it even more meaningful.

Although I began in interior decorating, I discovered my true passion in helping others experience Polish culture through pottery. Since 2017, I’ve focused entirely on bringing these timeless pieces into homes — from tea sets to baking dishes, and everything in between.

I travel back to Poland often, and I love sharing these trips with you — introducing you to the artists who craft each item and showing you the heart of Polish pottery.

Cooking has always been the heart of my home and my heritage.
Long before Surroundings became a business, it was a table — filled with family, stories, recipes, laughter, and the quiet magic of everyday moments.

Over time, that table grew into a community.

Through my live series “Cooking With Anna,” I share traditional Polish recipes passed down through generations, alongside new dishes inspired by the seasons and the people I meet along the way. What began as cooking for my family became cooking for thousands — a place where culture, memory, and modern life meet.

Many of these recipes are now being gathered into my upcoming cookbook, created with the help of our community, one dish at a time. Some of you cook along with me live. Others test recipes behind the scenes. Together, we make sure every recipe is not only beautiful, but truly works.
